Paratransit Services
BJCTA provides ADA Compliant Paratransit Service to
eligible persons with disabilities who are, because of their disability, unable to board, ride or disembark from an accessible vehicle in BJCTA's regular bus service. Service is provided with special lift-equipped vans on a curb-to-curb, shared ride basis. Certified VIP users and their personal care attendant may ride fixed routes FREE.
To use BJCTA VIP service you must complete an application form, which is available by download from this website, or by calling 205-521-0180. (Please allow approximately two to three weeks to process). VIP applications are also available in large print and Braille upon request. For other required medical applications see below.

CLASTRAN
BJCTA and Clastran coordinate schedules to provide broader service delivery to the metro area. Clastran is public transportation that serves Jefferson and Northern Shelby County and areas in the inner city not served by BJCTA Paratransit.
