Subject: Tunnel construction
On June 14, 2010 Children Hospital will begin construction for the building of a tunnel. The construction of the tunnel will close 6th Avenue South between 16th and 17th Street, for up to 11 months.
The route(s) affected are as follows:
· Route 40/48 Fairmont
· Route 6/8 Eight- Six Avenue South
· All Route UAB,s
The detour is as follows for Route 6/8 Eight Six Avenue South and All UABs
(INBOUND)
· Left on 16th Street South to 5th Avenue South
· Right on 5th Avenue South to 18th Street South
· Right on 18th Street South to 6th Avenue South
· Left on 6th Avenue South to Regular Route
(OUTBOUND)
· Right on 5th Avenue South to 16th Street South
· Left on 16th Street South to 6th Avenue South
· Right on 6th Avenue South to Regular Route
(INBOUND)
The detour is as follows for Route 40/48 Fairmont
· Left on 16th Street South to 5th Avenue South
· Right on 5th Avenue South to 18th Street South
· Left on 18th Street South to Regular Route
