Community Partnership Locations
The Birmingham Police Department is very happy to announce that they are joining with Metro Area Express (MAX) and the Birmingham Public Library to create Community Partnership Locations (CPL) in the City of
Chief A.C. Roper stated that he is elated to work with MAX and the Birmingham Public Library to make our city the best it can be.
He said the Community Partnership Locations would be sites that uniformed Birmingham Police Officers will visit during their patrol shifts to enhance public safety and facilitate greater communication.
The MAX Central Station and the Birmingham Public Libraries were chosen to launch this program because they are locations where our Officers can meet large groups of our citizens.
