Guin Robinson

Guin Robinson is the Institutional Development Coordinator for Jefferson State Community College. In this role, he works with various communities in which JSCC is located and assists with grants management for the College. He was the first full-time Mayor of Pell City, Alabama. He was elected to the position in 2000. Guin is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Public Administration and will complete a Masters in Educational Leadership in December 2007 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a graduate and member of the Board of Leadership Alabama and Leadership Birmingham. He is the former Chairman of the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham. He serves on the Board of United Way of Central Alabama, Kid One Transport, and Childcare Resources, where he is currently the Vice-President. Guin was honored in 2002 as Clay County High School's Outstanding Alumnist. He served as the FY 2007 Chairman of the BJCTA Board of Directors and represents the City of Birmingham. |
