E. Andre’ Petties is the Principal of The Leo Group, LLC a business that develops public/private partnerships. He has over 20 years of senior management experience in both the public sector and private industry. He has held senior management positions in Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC. He relocated to Birmingham in 1988 to take the position of HR Director for the Birmingham Turf Club. Since that time his work in the public sector includes the City of Birmingham and Jefferson County as Chief of Staff for the Commissioner of Health and Human Services.

Petties has served on several local boards and committees, including the YMCA, Birmingham Urban Youth for Soccer (BUSY) as a coach and board member, Birmingham Aids Outreach, and the Magic City Art Connection. He was a member of the MAPS 2001 Task Force and Leadership Birmingham. He is a member of the National Chamber of Commerce, and the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) of which he is the vice president of the local Magic City Chapter. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University and a Life Time member of the National Alumni Association.
