Johnnye P. Lassiter

Johnnye P. Lassiter is currently employed with the Hoover Board of Education as Supervisor of the Extended Day Program. She previously served as Judge Ralph Cook's Office Administrator during his first campaign. Ms. Lassiter has three (3) sons and three (3) grandchildren. Ms. Lassiter is the Dean of the Board of Directors for Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority. She has represented the citizens of Bessemer since 1999. Ms. Lassiter's passion for fiscal responsibility has enabled her to serve as Chairperson of the Finance Committee for four (4) consecutive years. |
